Just purchased my first ESP from Sweetwater for my hard rock/metal band. It's a F-415fm. Supposed to be here Tuesday. Hoping it's kind of like a less expensive alternative for an 35" scale emg loaded Spector. I've had a lot of nice basses (warwicks, musicmans, conklin) it would be nice to not have to worry so much about it getting stolen or dinged up from rocking out onstage. I was back and forth about buying a bass with such an extreme look. But it's all in good fun. Pictures coming soon.

Here's my f-415fm, played a gig with it this past Saturday. Really digging it. Wierd that with all the more expensive basses I've had this one just feels more me. Never had a bass with EMGs before either but They work great for my sound.

Ltd B-204sm fretless. Got it a couple days ago. Very good bass for only $480. The quality is that of a bass costing $1000 more.

Some sort of bass rainbow. Very nice. I'm a sucker for matching headstocks. That blue is beautiful.

Good morning Gents,

There are nice basses in this ESP Club.
Of course I'm biased having an LTD B-204SMFL and B-4E myself.
I've noticed that ESP/LTD has introduced the new AP-204 series P/J Bass recently.
So now I'm interested in that one too.
Does anyone know if the electronics cavity is shielded in that one?

Bought my D-4 about year and a half ago, everytime I grab it I reassure I made the right choice. Loving this bass, neck's so handy, nice weight, great tone.

I think I'm about the only one around here that really like ESP LTD basses. I have two: a C-304 and a B-50 fretless. I don't think I'll ever part with either of them. One of these days I'll post some pics.

There are a couple people on TB that have some love for ESP, but not many. It's a lonely venture.

I have an ESP LTD B50 fretless as well and love it! So smooth and easy to play.

Hello guys and gals. I am trying to find out about a LTD H4 bass. Its not the current one, it s the one that's a p/j with the LTD logo squished at the top of the headstock. Had to get rid of my C 304 awhile back and I would like to get another LTD to replace it. Thank you for any help you can give me.

My gig went well. I played the bass as purely a P-bass with the jazz pup turned to 0. It sounded great. To me the biggest surprise was the neck. As a jazz bass player, I'm used to the nice slim neck. After playing the 214 for 2 sets, I switched to my sterlinging by musicman SUB4 which has a very slim neck. Much to my surprise, I found it LESS comfortable than when I was playing the larger ESP neck. I didn't expect that. I've been on the fence about this bass (mainly because of the neck), but actually gigging with it made me realize how nice an instrument it is.

I have an ESP vintage fretless. I have had it for about 6 months, and absolutely love love love it!!!!! Have flatwounds on it, and it is absolute butter. The different sounds I can get just by placement and techniques with my hands is pretty incredible. I pretty much play direct through a Zoom B3, which is also a pretty amazing pedal. Namaste.

Been looking around for a Precision style bass lately and keep coming back to look at pictures of the Gabe Crisp signature LTD. It is basically the exact look I am looking for. Black guard on black body, maple neck with all black hardware. The matched black headstock is the only thing that I don't care for as much. Otherwise seems like a great platform to throw the EMG GZR set into.

I just bought a GC-P4. It will arrive tomorrow in the mail. I plan to add a EMG PJX set on it. Did you ever end up getting one?

I did not. Ended up catching a good deal on an American Standard Precision.

Gigged one of those for a while. A really great bass. I regret getting rid of mine.

Here is my current main 5 string. ESP RB1005. It's really a great and flexible bass. Lightweight too.
