OK - I was thinking about asking for EMG's for Christmas for my older ESP Amaze bass but now, since looking at this and the insane price I think I've changed my mind. It looks like it would be a good bass to mod.

NBD - ESP LTD AP-204

My AP204 came in today, did a little setup and replaced the bridge with a Hipshot Kickass. It's playing great so far.

Hey, Its ESP Rumble strandard series. Only few of those were made bettwen 2011-2012, becouse at the begingn of this model production ESP change model policy standards and canceled standard series, some of those bases ''got'' the custom shop staple, some of those go to the endorsments. When I was buying it I olso have option to buy oxidized Irdon color with cusdom shop stample for the seme price, but I rly love the mystic black color, so I pick this one ^^.

I have a LTD GC-P4. I'm going to eventually put EMG GZR pups in it. I've had it about a year and a half. Sounds & feels great! Too bad ESP canned this model and it no longer exists. I have to admit, I bought the bass for the specs/price.....not because it's a "Gabe Crisp signature model" (Never heard of GC or his band).

For an inexpensive bass, these BB4's sound phat. The quarter pounders and 3-band are a power house set up. A tad noisy in active mode, but worth it for the big sound.

I got in on Reverb. It was from a music store in upstate NY and it was listed as a "demo". So for $399 I got the bass & a real nice ESP gig bag.

They had one on Amazon for 250 and I delayed in pulling the trigger... anyway I have a different version of that same LTD, and I love it. They are so high quality. They made a big mistake getting rid of the Vintage line.

Just got this in the mail yesterday from GC. A used LTD Stream 204. I'm pretty impressed by the bass considering how much I paid for it ($199), I've wanted one when they first came out but never got to try one (or see one in person come to think of it) so it sort of slipped my mind. I saw this one the GC used page last week and just had to get it for this price. I'm really liking this bass so far- I realize the 204 is somewhat on the low end in terms of price and quality as ESP/LTD basses go, if that's the case, color me impressed at the quality.

That stream has lines that really flow (pun intended). She's a beauty and hard to believe only $199 to own. If your impressed, then I'm jealous of, but still happy, for your good fortune. Good Luck with her.

finally found an ESP B-1 . chanced upon it on reverb and the seller is just 15 mins away from me so i picked it up the next day. pretty aggressive sounding. the guy i bought it from said it was passive, when i plugged it in, it sounded muddy, cab was farting. i thought i bought a dud but decided to open the back and yup as i suspected it has an active pre amp. the battery was rusty but luckily it wasnt oozing. replaced it right away and it sounded massive and a lil too aggressive so i set the tone in flat. it sounded thick. i really dig it. sounded better with the darkglass.
