Here's my latest pickup, an ESP 2014 Custom Shop made by the Technical House shop. This thing has Warwick and other tones for days with a killer B string to match"
What a beauty! If you don't mind me asking, did you have to sell a kidney to buy it?
Love it! The ebony board is awesome.
From what I know the model started as „Forest“ model. Dates way back to the early 00s i think.I have a ESP LTD F-4E and a F-5E. Does anyone have any knowledge or history about these two basses. I can't find anything. Even Wikipedia does not list them on the ESP list. It would be nice to have some history behind these two basses. I love them. They play great and sound Awesome. I will send pic's later today.
Hi!
Any experience on the LTD Stream-1005 and are those heavy basses?

This is my F-5E btw. Threw out the stock electronics and upgraded it with EMG TW/DC and Darkglass ToneCapsule.
Before anyone beats me up too bad for this, I do own a real ESP or two and LTD is owned/made by ESP, no? Anyway, I feel like this particular model leans more towards ESP as opposed to LTD...
I know that LTD is ESP's "budget" line, however, I find this bass to be quite the exception in terms of features, hardware, electronics, tone and playability.
I mean come on man.....Aguilar pickups in a reverse P with J setup (my personal fave), Aguilar OBP-2 preamp, Babicz bridge, ebony fretboard, Northern ash body, very smooth turning tuners (Gotoh maybe?). All from the factory with these goodies???? What's left to upgrade? Nill, nada!
Plays awesome, incredible tone. I know that when I gig her, some bassists may have their noses up due to the LTD name on the headstock, but dear Lord, she's a wonderful instrument!
I don't think these are in production anymore, which, if that's the case, is a damn shame. Anyway, if you find one, grab it. Oh, these PT-4s came in at least 3 versions that I'm aware of, this being thr cream of the crop (Aggie and Babicz, etc).
