Official Eventide (H9/Factor Series) Settings Thread!!!

I am DYING to know about the Polyphony

If it's at least as good as the Digitech Drop in terms of tone / latency / tracking then this is literally the dream pedal I've wanted for YEARS

@Jon Moody can you comment on this at least briefly?

I can tomorrow.

I realize this thing has been leaked, but in respect to my original agreement, I will wait.

If you've got MIDI into two H9s you can't put them right next to each other either

Using the older, stupidly flat, RockCable MIDI cables, you can get damn close. I think my H9s are maybe 1/2" from each other.

Looking at the pictures...measuring the size of the stompers with a ruler on my screen...then measuring the width on my screen...then comparing them ot the measured size of the stompers on my H9's...the new H90 is around 14cm wide...not much wider than an H9. Sure my measurements could be off...but hey...we find out it's exact dims tomorrow :D

Visually, if the stomp switch spacing is the same as the H9s, it would have to be smaller because it's like you've got two overlapping ones. Also somewhat assuming the depth is the same.

As you said, we'll see.

Archived store pages listing this puppy at nearly $900. Pain... suffering... also roughly the price I expected...
When they were first released, you could get a Max + a Core for $1100 ($700 + $400).

In that context this honestly seems like a steal.

Fingers crossed (but doubtful) that the updated pitch-shifting capabilities can be loaded to the H9, I’m most curious how the tracking has been improved especially for bass.

I doubt that, simply from them telling us that there isn't much else they can do on the H9 platform after the Tricerachorus algo was created. It was at capacity then, so I don't know how they'd make some of these new features backward compatible.

Even if it were possible --- which as you have both suggested, I don't think it is --- I thought they very specifically had announced that algo and feature development on the H9 was done.

I'm curious if H9 presets will somehow be forward compatible into the H90.

This is legitimately something I haven't tried yet.

I opted to write down all my presets and enter them manually, so I could figure out how to use the desktop software. Which is easy to use.

I know they're not between the H9 and the dot9 pedals (UltraTap, Blackhole, MicroPitch, Tricerachorus). I asked about that, and ended up recreating one for the Blackhole.

Here’s a photo comparison. It’s not that much wider. The other measurements are the same.
