My initial venture into the GR Bass cab world. Impressed so far. It gets quite loud, but never sweats. Next rehearsal is Wednesday. That will confirm my hopes.

That AT 610 is one of my dream cabs. I'd love to pair one with my Bergantino Forte HP2.

I love my Berg 112s but the thought of a 1200w, 41lb, single cab monster that can crank out copious amounts of tone…just awesome.

Perfect for any "…and the horse you rode in on" volume requirements.

Time to start selling off the kid's Lego sets…

OK. Had a jam last night and seized the opportunity to do some comparison testing with the GR AT610. Test conditions are 2 1x12 30 watt all tube guitar amps and a pretty hard hitting drummer. Genre is mostly rock & blues. Practice room is roughly 30' x 30'.

First up is the Arkham Beast. Very respectable. Great tone. Got the gain to the edge of breakup and the master just shy of 12 o'clock. The cab handles it smoothly. Pretty happy with the results.

Next is the Mesa Prodigy. Holy sledgehammer Batman! Incredibly LOUD and clear. Tone was awesome and even across fret board. Band mates were visibly impressed - in a good way. Got the gain to the edge of breakup and the master just before 9 o'clock. Again, the cab handles it all smoothly. I included a close up of the Mesa to clearly show the level of the Master. At that level, the room vibrates. for the jam, I pushed the Master a tad closer to 9 o'clock. As always, hearing protection was used. Needless to say, this will be the gig rig of choice.

Yesterday, I took my NF210V cab to the rehearsal, and I noticed the amp was about to fall from the cab because of vibrations, so I put it aside (I'll try to find some sort of padded material before next rehearsal to prevent the head from moving).

So, since there was nothing on top of the cab, and its height is about the same as a chair, I sponteanously sat on the cab. Result: a glorious low-frequency massage I could really feel what I was playing, it's hard to explain...

I brought the at410+ to a gig on the Sunset Strip (State Social House) last night.
It was overkill by a large margin.
Very easy to carry, so no big deal, but it was a single 12" kinda show. Sounded fine, but I don't find it wowing me in upper register (for a bass guitar)detail. Cab sounds thick and mighty. Lows are great. Maybe I need a different head/preamp voicing to balance out what I'm looking for.

It'll be hard to leave home; but the Berg will probably sit out the next gig while I see how the trusty TH500 mates with the at410+.
Will see next Friday.

I am really hoping the HR staff can answer this.
I currently own a couple of GR bass cabinets and a GR mini 350 head.
I would love to buy another 208 cabinet. It is almost impossible to find anywhere (especially in the US).
Are there plans to have the product more readily available in the US in 2024?
I have contacted all 5 dealers in the US and nobody has a 208 and it is not possible to order one item through them.
The product is amazing!

Hello,
The idea of making a 10" AT or NF combo is there.
The problem is that the weight difference with the current 10" wooden combo would be very low, but the sales cost would be higher.
We're not sure it could have that much interest.
But it's one of the projects we're considering.
We have a lot of new releases for both bass and guitar, so it's inevitable that something will take a back seat.

I just checked all the orders we have from American stores and no one ordered 2x8".
What I can do is put you in touch with the man in charge of Chuck Levin's who has a shipment leaving next week. I could put in their order a 2x8" if you were interested.

OK, I have to admit curiosity got the better of me today so I took a quick break from work to run down and pop it out of the box and do some comparisons against my AT212. Yes, it's smaller but since they're both pretty lightweight, it's really hard to tell if it weighs much less than the original cab I have.

The rubber get are definitely bigger and better than the others from the AT212 and the little Italian flag colors on the tag at the bottom of the cover is a nice touch too

since it's smaller I may have to get a GR head to match it as well we'll see

Sitting in for a bassist and went to the only rehearsal before next week's gig. 15 songs of which I only knew a few but my charts were decent. 73' J bass, Traynor SB500 head and GR 112H (wood cabinet).
At home I've had the tweeter at about 50% but it seemed much more hi-fi and too much like snap and pop ultra bright in a band mix.
I turned it down to 30% and cut the treble on the amp but it still seems a little to hi-fi.
The low end and mid clarity was amazing! Next time I'll turn the tweeter down more.

Anybody else feel the high end has a little too much sizzle up high; as if it's crossed over very high and/or the tweeter is for very high freqs.
Feels like a bump at 6-8K. FWIW, the bass needs a hair more neck relief so that didn't help with occasional fret noise.
