That was my assumption as well. I bet the boost is pretty meh too.Twenty bucks says it drops tons of low end. Just a guess.
Not all of them can be as good as the American I suppose.

General consensus is that UD retains lows better. Never tried the OCD myself.Have any of you tried the UD and the OCD? If so, which do you prefer?
I have both. The UD is much better. More bottom end and an overall better sound.Have any of you tried the UD and the OCD? If so, which do you prefer?
It's all good. I ordered a JP02 power supply instead. I still love their pedals.Wow dude that's crazy and unfortunate. I know they're not the best build quality but dang.

Is the joyo power supply isolated? Is it noisy?
Ok thanks, then I'll stay with the 1spot I already own.
I've heard that a lot. That's why I ordered it.It is not truly isolated. But running 8 pedals, I've never had any problems...yet.
I'm pretty sure you guys have talked me into buying an American.
I've avoided the classified, now I guess I'll have to start avoiding the Effects section too. Luckily this pedal is only $30
One question though - If I were to do that steel wool finish that was posted a few pages back, do you have to take the entire cover off or just scrape down around the knobs? Is it hard to take the cover completely off?
Take the back cover off first. That way you can hold the foot switch still and keep it from turning. Other than that quite simple as stated before. One question though - If I were to do that steel wool finish that was posted a few pages back, do you have to take the entire cover off or just scrape down around the knobs?
