That was my assumption as well. I bet the boost is pretty meh too.
Not all of them can be as good as the American I suppose.

Not all of them can be as good as the American I suppose.
It's all good. I ordered a JP02 power supply instead. I still love their pedals.
I personally prefer the OCD. I like the UD as well, great pedal. I just think the OCD has this flavor and response I havent quite found with any other TS clone/pedal. I like the way it sounds and looks. The UD def has better low end retention. But the OCD, especially at louder volumes, has low end. Its just a lot different that your bass signal. There isnt a lot of body to it. Its like its all flavor and not much body. If that makes sense. But that is why I love it so much, it just sounds awesome to me. And it cuts straight through the mix.
Those are good. I have a Caline PS5. They work great, are really small and look awesome with all those blue lights. I think it was only $50.
It's cleaner than a One Spot, which isnt bad in itself. I had some issues with running 3 Source Audio pedals off it at once with some discrete noise but could just be my setup, removed one of the pedals to its own power supply and everything's whisper quiet now. Running 10 pedals no problem!
They say it is but like Sunn said, I don't believe it's truly isolated either. None the less, I run that, two 1spots and three power supplies that came with their respective pedals and my board is damn quiet. I get some noise of course when there are drive or high gain pedals engage but that's sorta goes with the territory. These are the reasons why I've never sprang for a voodoo labs ps or the like. I just don't need one.
Food for thought, like I said I have and use two 1spots on my board as well. I got the PS5 for so I could run as many as I could on somewhat isolated power. Also, it has the 12 and 18v outs which was also appealing to me as I like to run my OCD @ 18v and couldnt do that with a 1spot. So if you ever do get the hankering for the PS5, I strongly recommend it. For those qualities I named above its a great power supply. Its nice to dedicate the 1spots to the hanful of pedals I have on my board that draw high ma.

You won't be disappointed.
One question though - If I were to do that steel wool finish that was posted a few pages back, do you have to take the entire cover off or just scrape down around the knobs? Is it hard to take the cover completely off?
Yeah the best bet is taking everything out and doing the whole enclosure. It is real easy, all the pots are board mounted so it comes out as one whole thing. There isn't much going on inside the pedal. Just keep track of all the nuts and washers. Once you start you will realize its no big deal. I wouldn't be intimidated by it or anything.
Take the back cover off first. That way you can hold the foot switch still and keep it from turning. Other than that quite simple as stated before.
