There is a beautiful Decade for sale in the classifieds

I read through the last few pages of this thread last night - some great looking Basses. Last night all night I was dreaming of Laklands - this is the second time in the past few months I have had dreams with these Basses in them - I think I am going to have to sell a few on the Basses I own and consider getting one. I have 4 Fender Jazz Basses and I love the looks of the Natural Finish JO's - also would like a Glaub. My main Bass right now is a Spector 6 - I switch between that and a P-Bass with Flats.

Just wanted to say after looking at all of the photos here - I am really dreaming of a Lakland

Regarding the announcement.... I honestly couldn't be happier. A BG5 is absolutely the next bass I would buy, and to have a special LOG version would just be icing on the cake. I've wanted a P forever, but can't go down to a four banger, and can't bring myself to get anything that doesn't have those seven magic letters (I suppose TECHNICALLY there are only FIVE letters, just a couple used twice) LAKLAND.

HOLY CRAP, I didn't see that coming AT ALL! And, I agree w/ blondmix, the BG5 was on my list of "must have" basses. NOW, what to sell....... hmm ???

We realize the people that voted Hollowbody will be disappointed. Justifiably so.
I believe it will eventialy happen. Think about it....The first Glaug 5. I think thats pretty cool.
I think its going to go over big!! And a non-standard Skyline color.

I love it.

Low cost and took 10 minutes to install.

It's just clean boost with eq control.

And the Z mode, kick it in at the crescendo of song and it sounds like a bomb went off.

I could not have a jazz bass without one...

i agree, i have one in my DJ4 and its absolutely amazing, ill never not have one in a jazz style bass!!! it sounds so sweet with the lakland jazz pickups.

hhmmmm, i may be out on the log bass. im not much of a 5 string player, and i already own a pretty sweet lake placid blue glaub. i guess i might be down if i can get a chi humbucker as an option.

I put one in the '99 Fender that I just sold. I paired it w/ Model Js and added a Badass bridge. I liked it a lot.

Man, what a collection! Very nice, sir. 3 US Lakies, and the DPLE2 is arguably the nicest Skyline ever made--well, it'll have to duke it out with the Skyline Decade.
