Here is a picture of her with my other basses. I have actually sold the Fender now though and will be getting a Darryl Jones soon.

Thanks. As I say, the Fender has now been sold. My ESP 400 Series Jazz blew it away but I want to get the Darryl Jones as my main bass. I just can't decide upon Lake Placid Blue or Black with a black pickguard

DJ basses are awesome. I've had a 5 & 4. I had to sell both for $$$ reasons, but am about to bag Poon's Black DJ5. The DJ4 was one of the best sounding basses I've had come through my hands.
Does anyone have a Duck Dunn skyline w/ a red tort pickguard?
Also, GASing for a Vintage MIJ bass, need to keep looking at Lakland's to not be tempted!

panda, you need a bass with chi's. maybe i'll sell the DJ one day to get a 55-07, lol.
Yeh I can but I do like BOTH basses...besides, there was not enough inteterest in BOTH at the same time.....there were a few people semi-serious in either but it does not look like they will sell by the deadline so I took them off the market.
no big deal really....I really like them both so I will keep them!!!
may even play the JO5 this Sunday!!!
PS - another one of the decising factors was that I SHOULD be able to replace the JO5 if i ever wanted to but getting another PJ that is this nice would be a long shot!!!
if you decide you want to move your JO5, let me know. I've got cash in hand (will be in bank on monday and can paypal on Tuesday as soon as it clears) and looking for a JO5 (natty w/rosewood specifically) or DJ5.
OK Zach...will do...for now, I think it is staying put....
well....good question......they all get rotated.....it all really depends on how much i am playing at Church vs. traveling for work.....The JO5 gets played more than the PJ but the PJ sure feels great when i play it!
I really do try to mix it up....the JOCS5 and the 55-07 have been getting more attention since they are newer....they are getting "put into" a normal rotation now....
none of my basses get weekly play....

Major congrats!!! A DD and a DJ!!! wow....2 sweet basses with block'd necks....way to go!!!
now you just need to replace the MM with a 44-02 and you will be all good to go (JK!!!)
