Ah...bummer:( Cool.

so fedex home delivery can go ____________ (insert profanity here) ____________ ______________ ______________ _____________ _________________.

i have added fedex home delivery to the list of shipping companies to NEVER use again. it is currently number 2 with USPS being #1 for their inability to handle basses properly.

guess i have to wait until tomorrow after work to go pick up my package. :scowl:

FedEx Home Delivery <---:spit::spit::spit::spit::spit::spit::spit:

what really gets me is that i saw the driver at the other end of my neighborhood and didn't stop to get my frackin package. :bawl:

I use USPS all the time and have had no issues.

FedEx is tops of my no-use list, followed closely by DHL..

dhl doesn't exist anymore, so grats! lol. (that is...as they used to exist)

i don't have problems with fedex aside from the home delivery 'rules.' they don't have any contact with the driver, so even tho he was 2 minutes from my place, they couldn't contact him to redeliver. it's like home delivery is a contractor to fedex or something. they also don't require their drivers to bring the trucks back at night, so if you miss em, well "frack you, then!" says fedex home delivery. see you tomorrow! :rolleyes:

/rant.

I won't buy from any company that uses FedEx. You can't tell if it goes the Home Delivery route or not---and Home Delivery won't come to my home. I am so far in the boondocks that they won't come within 30 miles of my house. They dump the package off to USPS and I might see it six weeks later. So FedEx is on my sh** list.

USPS won't insure over $600 , which about knocks out any guitar shipments. I have never had a problem with UPS deliveries or shipping, so I use them.

Yeah...they both suck! I like IPS the most.

I've almost always had good luck with FedEx, except the one time they 'lost' a bass I sold.
They finally found it, with a lot of help from me & got it unharmed to the buyer.

UPS on the other hand, almost always loses the Suite # to my work address delaying orders by a day or 2. :mad:

OH YEAH, JO5 P/J incoming!

Lately, I've had items shipped to a nearby UPS store. The store charges me $5 for accepting it, but it is delivered to an air conditioned place instead of sitting out in the heat and they stay open past 6:00pm, so I can just go by there on my way home. No worries.
