Couple of questions. Are you running the DI in pre or post? I have not made the jumper switch yet. Do you use the amp stand most of the time? I'm contemplating that with my Schroeder 1210, I always have PA support so I guess I'm not that concerned with losing the coupling effect.

Hey Chris - I've not made the jumper switch either, so the DI is post for me. I do use the amp stand just about all the time. I think the Avatar 410 (which I just sold) has plenty of low end, and I'm now on a Berg AE410, which will be at least as good. I admit I have never ventured out into the room on gigs where we don't have FOH to listen and see if I am losing the low end on projection. I will have to do that sometime.

Had to back gain down to about 10,bass down to 11.ABSOLUTE TONE HEAVEN! The combination of the LM2 and Schroeder is Da Sh*t! Guitarist as well as other bassist at the gig just had to check the little black & yellow box out! Took a stroll about 25 feet or so into the room and the bass was clear as a bell and still retained it's punch.I AM A BELIEVER!!!!!

Oh yeah, one more thing,when I shut it down at the end of the night the head was barely warm to the touch,unlike me and my smelly bandmates!!

So what did the bandmates have to say about it? Were their minds warped? :D:D:D

My drummer loved it,he said he could hear me better than ever,you know guitarists,they can't understand how anything can work without tubes in them.Next gig will be a total mindfreak for them when I walk in with the 1212.Really Eric,this thing really shines live,I got numerous comments on my tone which is always good to step the playing up a notch.

Ok so maybe I don't like the look just yet, but I love the weight and sound. I don't own any Mark Bass stuff but I was at Guitar Center today and the guy there picked up a 2x10/1x15 rear-ported stack by himself!!!! :eek: It was crazy. He's not even that big of a guy, maybe 5'8" 150-lbs. It made me realize that Ampeg needs to come up with some light cabs or Mark Bass is the new kid on the block!

Heres mine. Could I have a number?
Minimark is just brand new, its got to double as my practice amp and my back up for gigs. When I plug in into the 210 its pretty loud, as loud as a minimark 250 I would assume.
The combo with the extension cab is amazing. Running a front and rear ported cab together really opens up the sound. Love everything about this rig.

Hmm I must of missed this going on I think I was one of the first ones with markbass gear around here as my buddy worked for erickson music (the canadian distributor) I currently have an LMK (2 chan) head and a STD 1 x 12 cab I formerly had a TA-501 (I think it was the 501 with the compressor..) which was stolen I believe it was like #12...
