I just checked and my MB4210 combo, MB450H head and my 1x15 cab all say made in Vietnam. They must have had factories or sub - contractors in both places.

Seriously, the only gripe I have has to do with lousy service from the local service center for Marshall. Unfortunately, they are also the authorized service center for Fender, SWR. Orange, Peavey and Vox.
That is my only gripe also. I bought mine from The Perfect Bass (was the best price I had found SHIPPED!!!! Check with them first...even if it is not listed on their siite) and although they did all they could (GREAT customer service) it was going to end up a big PITA to get mine checked. (I had a light that would turn on and off on it's own...) I just decided to live with it...and have had no other issues at all.
Here is the short version - My MB4210 would cut out intermittently then quit. It was taken to the local service center twice for this. Each time it was gone over three weeks. The last time it came back scuffed and dirty like it had been gigged and had a terrible hum/buzz.
The music store I bought it from got it fixed by their tech guy. It took two days. He replaced the pre-amp tube. It's worked fine ever since.

Good to know. Now that you mention it...mine did cut out once (just ONCE)...I assumed it was due to the heat outside (we were playing a daytime show and no shade)...I just added an extra clip fan blowing...no problems with that since.

I really like my 2-10 combined with the 1-15 cabinet that I have...sounds good. I would check with The Perfect Bass to see what they can do for pricing...remember that they give TB members a discount!!!! (Not affiliated at all with them, just liked the service that I got and continue to get)
does anyone have any sound clips or videos of their marshall stack that is 2x10 with a 1x15 underneath???

The stack is too expensive for me, i can pick the amp up for around £330, and the cab for £180ish, but the cab will be paid for when i sell my ashdown combo
I didn't think I would ever use the MB head again after getting my ampeg. But for gigs where I need power I use pre-out of the ampeg into the effects return of marshall, which bypasses the preamp in the marshall. So I can get 2 ohms with ampeg tone. I recently ran 2 410's and a 15; and it was magical.
Oh, an ampeg-fan. I´ve played ampeg for al long time. There were SVT 3 & 4 Pro, one SVTII & a SVT build 1973. Nice amps. But by the way, now i change to Orange & Marshall. I like the british sound. Otherway i´ve Sunn-Rig two, a very cool amp!!!

You marshall amp fans might be interested to know that the tech 21 british pedal does a pretty mean job with bass as well as guitar. i just got one for christmas and gigged with it the first time tonight, and it kills. don't expect a huge 40 hz response, but if your idea of good bass tone is a superbass through two marshall 412 cabs, you'll love this pedal.
