From the Orange website:

Using breakthrough technology, the new ‘Smart Power’ range of speakers come in three sizes and utilises, for the first time in this market, Isobaric loudspeaker construction.
This revolutionary technology is based on mounting two Lightweight Neodymium Eminence Speakers within the cabinet behind each other and in practical terms this not only lowers the bass frequency but also delivers more output from within a smaller sized cabinet.

The three new models are the SP210 (600 watts), the SP212 (600 watts), and thirdly the SP410 (1200 watts).

All three cabinets have a dynamic and responsive tone and the trademark compact ‘Tiny Terror’ size - the SP210 measures a little over 30cms square!

Built in the UK using marine quality Baltic birch plywood, the Smart Power cabs are all rated at 8 ohms and create an awe inspiring sound.... in short the new Smart Power range integrates big ideas into one small speaker system... Small is the new big!

i've just finished rehearsal and for the 1st time i think my orange rig sounded like it should do! I cut the mids completely, bass at about 3 o clock and treble at about 2 o clock with the gain at 11 oclock and volume at 9 o clock. Just sounded right, not too boomy just fat with a nice grind on it. I used a lakland bob gluab (pbass) into the active input and I also think the tubsim mode on my ebs compressor helped with it. i have the compression set low with a slightly volume boost asthe valves add compression too.

Talking about of the orange eq - has anyone seen the 1000w bass terror with a much more detailed eq - i think there is a video somewhere from musikmesse. Now if the had that eq you in ad200 we would be talking!

Finally got a pic of my Orange rig!

I didn't take any of the pictures so none of my pedals or basses...

I play a fender Vintage 62 -> Boss tuner -> T-Rex Moller -> old Hot Tubes -> Orange.

will get more pic's soon!

Oh, and i like the red amp jewel. Makes it look more dangerous so no one touches it at gigs :smug: (looks a bit soft cos of the flash, i promise you it's scares even me!)
