Here is the recording of my band.
I recorded using my terror bass through my Warwick 6x10 (there is a pic of the process somewhere in here). I used a Squier VM Jazzbass with fresh d'addario pro steels.

by the way: the signal is 50/50 direct DI and two mics, one at the bass port of the cab and the other directly at a speaker.

Already have a number, but changed up the cab my ad200 is going into - now running my Emperor 6x12 I had made for my guitar, sounds better than the 6x10. It's packed w/ 65w weber speakers. Now that it's 8ohms vs the 4ohms of my 6x10 I can also run the Sunn vertical 4x12 thats hiding in the background (i have two of them actually) along with it for 10 total 12" speakers and it sounds amazing. I've doubled the amount of pedals since this pic was taken too. 60th anniversary mia p-bass on top of head.

Nope - I have a shallow piece of foam in the front top that stops at the handle to fill the gap - the vent has a couple inches above it open

That's just sweet man. I'm rarely envious of peoples amps around here because I love my Marshall gear so much... but if I could have any cabinet in the world... that Hiwatt would be it.

Thanx man! I have to agree on that one. For me it's a dream come true and i sounds sweeet ! Wierd thing about it though is that the fullrange input is at 16 ohms! But individually the upper and lower input are 8 ohms each so you can still run it at 4 ohm.

I switched cabs because the Emperor was only 450w & it had some of the annoying vibrations at times. I also wanted something to match my Ampeg 2x15 when I played shows w/ both amps. (and again for the record, there is no case foam on top of the vent of the head. there is a shallow piece that ends at the top handle to fill the space in the front)

I run my AD200 into a Berg NV215 and it is a match made in heaven. The extra 6" speaker gives it just a little more top end and the lows are heavenly - like playing in front of subs.

I am thinking about buying an orange Crush Pix CR100BXT bass combo would anyone recommend it or be able to tell me a bit about it and how good it is?

+1 I was just A/Bing my Orange 4x10 and 1x15 against another brand last night, and I am always happy when I break out those Orange cabs.

A question for all the Orange users in the forum...

I have been using a 500 watt Terror Bass with a Schroeder 410 cab for some time now. In my quest for something lighter I bought an Orange SP212 and, even though it sounds great, it sounds like I'm pushing it too much. Almost all of the time I play in loud rock bands and most of the time without any sound reinforcement. I'm thinking of getting an OBC115. Do you think it will solve my problem? or should I get a bigger cab like an OBC 410? Could the problem be the head? I hope I was clear enough with my explanation.

Are you pushing too much gain? I play in a rock band and usually run the gain at about 8 to 9 o'clock with no problems.

Not a lot, about 9 o'clock too, and also keep the bass knob on the amp really low, about 8 o' clock...

I only play a passive P Bass... you could experiment with the passive/active switch. I run my bass at 10, my mid at 4 and my high at 9 usually... it works for me as I play mainly rock.
