Official Zon Club Part 2

It will arrive next week. I'm exited. It also has a ramp, made out of the same wood as the top (black redwood)

I'm happy to finally join the zon club! I bought a used Zon Sonus which just arrived. I wanted to adjust the truss rod but found this!
Is this normal? It looks sheared off inside....I think I bought a lemon.

There is no truss rod nut but I'm not sure. I emailed Zon but was told it's a truss rod and it can be adjusted in both directions.. I can't go back to the seller because it's already been a month. Thoughts?

Looks like you need an allen key to adjust it. I don't know if that's standard for Zon, but I've seen it on lots of other basses so it doesn't seem that unusual to me.
 
Did you contact Zon yet? Call them, ask, and send pictures. Way more useful that asking here.

It's actually hard to see what's going on in the picture because it's far away and at an angle, but it does not look correct.
