So I am trying to find out what happened to that Sonus BG4 that sold here ca. 3 years ago. Have contacted the buyer in that thread, but I haven't gotten a reply yet. If anyone knows any other BG4 in circulation (they are very, very rare) or have even seen one, I'd like to know.

I got one, but I'm not selling it...:):):)... The bass is amazing, I've had it for almost 4 years and it is still my #1 bass...

Being a student, I simply don't have the budget for a new order, regardless of how much I wanted one... :( I also got cheated out my job this summer, so I am having even less money than I expected I would have, post summer...

Oh well, if I manage to win the lottery, maybe I can make that pink sparkle dream come true :hyper:

Hello fellow Zon lovers. I finally landed a 519 but now I have a different problem..... It's more Zon than I actually wanted if that's even possible. It has the Aero duals in it with a 3 band but also a Piezo setup too. You can switch to single coil with the switch. The other switch is for the Piezo in/out.
I hate to go modding it so I thought I'd try to swap with someone that has a 519 with a slightly simpler setup, Ash back instead of Mahogany. It's definitely a beast of a bass and eye candy for sure but just not me at the moment. I know, I know, I'm crazy. Here's a pic.

I'd love to have that 519 Halegroove, but I'd prefer an ash back too. Waiting on my TJ6 19mm that's being finished up. your 519 is so nice that it's the only bass I'd consider getting rid of my 4 or 5 fretless for. Hope you find the swap you are looking for.

If it had been regular spacing, I would have already purchased it from you, Halegroove.

519's come up for sale not irregularly, so you should be able to find one- though you may need to buy it rather than trade for it.

519's are few and far between on the used market; not as rare as your basses but not a quick find by any means.

Planet Bass has a used on, but he's asking a whole lot for it.

If Halegroove sells this one I'm locked and loaded. :)

I feel like I've seen quite a few in the last year or two- including a few in person (Gelb, one at Guitar Center here in CT, etc). The ones that never seem to come up are Studios, which are great.

I've been watching and waiting on here for a 519 or Studio to come available and it's been very rare the last 1 1/2 years. I've even reached out to people that bought them on older threads to see if they were interested in selling. LSU921 can tell you that. I asked him a couple times.

I picked up a Studio from GC earlier this year, but in typical GC fashion it arrived a total mess so back it went. Now I'm on the hunt for a Sonus 5, 519, or Studio..

Hey bobunit, that 4/2 looks just like mine except for mine being gloss black. Really lovin' mine, just got it over the summer. Sounds, plays and hangs just GREAT, and extra-light, too. Wish I had the hard case, though (i.e. if anyone has a spare they want to sell...).

I'm not sure what the Zon cases are made of, but they are heavy! Really diggin the 4/2. I guess mine is a slightly different flavor. Ash body.
