This Sonus 4 is listed on my local CL. It's described as a 1995 model, but I've never seen one with the metal control plate. Also says it has "factory installed" Seymour Duncan pickups. Anyone have any insight as to whether or not its been modded?

How much?I don’t play 5’s anymore, so I’ve considered selling this.. but for some reason every time I take it out for pictures it goes right back in the closet. Maybe I’ll come back to 5’s one day.

Have you heard 'Swing Low, Sweet Chariot - Sample' by Sasha Tkacheff on SoundCloud?
From a recent session.
I love the sound of my Zon.
I'm about to list a Zon Sonus special. I swapped out the ZON brass bridge for a Hipshot aluminum A type to shed a couple ounces. Should I swap it back or just leave it? Thoughts? I'm not going to sell it with both for sure.
It has ZON on it. I'll swap it back and sell the aluminum one.
Does anyone know where this bass ended up?
SOLD - 2013 Zon Sonus 619
A 19 mm spacing Zon 6-string is one of my dream basses...
The grungy side of capitalism.Business is business but I'm seeing more and more some shop snapping the good classified deals or individual listed ZON, marking up by close to 100% sometime and relisting. The scarcity of the model makes that eventually they will succeed in making a profit but still....

Have you received your bass yet?My approach was to order a Zon... drool over some Fodera standards at Sweetwater, buy one, and now the wait for my Zon is a little easier![]()
