Oh so many cabs....

And not only that, this may have been said already (I apologize if it has) but generally you want to stick with cabs of the same brand and not mix them together. If you want more meat in your potatoes, stick with 12's, they are the best of both worlds.

I hate to say it but you face an uphill battle in metal, there's a lot of ignorance out there for bass and tone and there aren't many players who really give a **** about it (and few true bass players that really stand out).
