IMO, when the thing actually comes out, the new MXR ISO brick will most likely be the one to beat. The one to rule them all. It looks crazy versatile and has a ton of power pumping through it. It is, so they say it is, truly isolated as well. So for what it is at that price point, it's gonna be hard to beat. We've all been eagerly awaiting it's August release over in the breeders thread.
I use two 1spots and an ISO5 powering the majority of my board with a few single warts for things like the rusty box and such. Since switching from the Caline PP5 to the ISO5, my board has gotten quieter. I plan on getting a new MXR ISO brick and do away with the 1spots all together in the future. I didn't buy into what a lot of folks said about getting a good power supply for a larger board for a long time. But it's true. You start getting 10+ pedals, I thinks you should invest in one. Me included. It does indeed make a difference. I still don't think there's anything wrong with 1spots for the most part. But again, when your board is growing and you're getting some digital and different voltaged pedals, well, a 1spot really isn't the best way to go IMO.
I've also heard really good things about the decibel 11 stuff. That hot stone looks hot. And handles some serious ma draw. Also a great choice.
Buy if you can hold out a few weeks for that new MXR ISO brick, I'd strongly recommend it. You went fer yearnin for a power supply right on time jimmy man.
