OK, so how many TB'ers are "Bi?"

...or "Multi?" Maybe you're lucky enough to be in the Uni/Mono/Homo camp and can save some $$$'s. Or maybe you're so committed to owning every Rosewood Precision Bass out there you're going broke being a Uni.

We're lucky to have so many "Either/or" threads on TalkBass: Rosewood or Maple? Fretted or Fretless? 4-string or 5-string? Passive or Active? P or J? Brand A or Brand B? etc... There's others like me just can't commit to one or the other.

I'm totally Bi: I love Maple, but I like Rosewood too. I like my 5 string, but I can't get enough of a 4-banger either. I love my Lakland and my Gibson - oh yeah, and my Musicman - guess I'm "Tri" in the brand category. Could save a lot of dough if I say, "ONLY play Maple neck/4-string/Precision Basses made in California." But I'm a whore - I meet too many basses, and I just can't say no! :rolleyes: :help:

Stand up and be counted: Which one are you - Bi or Uni? Are there even any Uni's on Talkbass? :eek:

I believe the proper term to be using in designating more than "bi", would be "poly", as in polyamouros!

And, the Ducks beat the Cougers everytime!! :hyper:

I'm not sure I understand the question.

But after going through a few basses, these 3 are the only ones I own and in my regular rotation for my bands\recording sessions...

Stingray 4H, rosewood, active
Tribute L2500, 5, rosewood, active\passive
Jazz, 4, maple, passive

So I guess I'm Tri? :eyebrow:

Although I will TRY any bass once! :)

Um....Im a musician. Guitars, Banjos, Mandolins, Fretted and fretless bass, acoustic or electric, effects or straight in, some tube some solid state, some cheap gear some expensive gear, some used some new,I like classical AND jazz. I got a drumset, hell I even paint a little. Sometimes oil, sometimes acrylic.I Like Volkswagens and Chevys ... you get the picture.

You're a Rainbow (guess I am too) - maple/rosewood/passive/active/5ver/4banger - GAS comes easily to us.
