Assuming they dont, narcing on these guys would serve what purpose at this point?
Removing them from circulation for a while so they can't screw over the next guy down the line?

Call the police. File a report.
This will officially document your missing guitar and put you in
a much better position to get it back if you happen to spot it
somewhere (e.g. pawn shop, somebody playing it).

Ill be home this weekend, and I'm going to try talking to them one more time. My ex is their merch girl, and as far as she knows he still has it and is just being an a$$hole and isnt giving it back cause I threatened to sue. If all else fails tgough, its police report then pawn shops.
Im over it now, and got another guitar, but it still sucks, and I could definitely use the money right now, seeing as how my amp crapped out on me
You guys are right though, if I ever loan out gear again it'll be a one night thing when I'm going to be present.

Why are you letting them dick you around? I do not understand why you even came here asking for help because you seem intent on getting walked over, didn't need anyone's help for that.
File a bloody police report, you can't do anything without one anyway except suck up the loss and feel crappy about yourself forever. Look how long this has been going on, you have to drop the 'trying' attitude and graduate to 'doing'. They sense your weakness and will exploit it.

And, you sure ain't gonna get no money from a dope head. Me personally, I'd just take the $400.00 out of that ass. I know there will be responses of people ragging on me for my remarks. But, that's just me. I work too damn hard for some strung-out dope head to come along, and snatch my gear. And, I would assume it's the same for the rest of us. So, I'll say it again. I'd stomp a mud hole in his ass, and then stomp it dry. Just don't be doin' it in front of the county jail (obviously!), or the local Quickie Mart, in front of the security cameras. The hell with it. PM me, and we'll draft you up a perfect game plan.![]()
