Anybody want to pitch in for a Fodera to review? I'll order it and take delivery :D

Those who paid with paypal can easily dile a complaint, and get a reversal on their funds from his account, but I'm not sure I would do that just yet.....lets get some confirmation what's going on first. I personally would never ditch my friends (cyber friends or not) for a bass, much less a wish.

i just had lunch with him today - c'mon folks, lighten up.

i'll call him and see what's up.

Agreed, but if it were my, and TB members took faith in my to be legit on this, I would have personally kept in contact with the buyers, just to let them know things were cool. I also agreed to give him a bit of the benefit (of doubt) here also.

No. The reversing of funds thing is a very crappy/stupid comment. I did donate my money. Key word. Donate.

You who did not, should not tell others what they should do in this situation. I'm okay if the bass never gets my way, I'm just glad to have helped w/ this thread with my donation.

I'm actually offended that you brought something like that up. I find it very poor of you to say that Hambone is ditching his friends.

Are any other donaters actually worried about their money? I'm not. It's literally whatever for me. Just because I donate to something like the March of Dimes, I don't expect anything of it.

Man, I think you took me all wrong here :(

I also let people know that I would wait to see what the real deal is, before reversing any kinds of funds, I was just letting others know, who have expressed worries about this, that the option was available. Since I DID NOT contribute to the bass (I had planned to, but could not at the moment), I will butt out of this thread.

You should not be "offended I brought that up", as you took me wrong on that. I was stating that I, and most likely anyone else (including hambone) would NOT ditch their friends for something like that....once again, I think you have me, and my words mistaken.

It does still seem odd that he disappeared from this thread, but thee verdict is still out on that one. At any rate, have fun with your thread, I am done with it. If you still got a prob with me, take it up in PM

John, when will the CD (CD's) be available to order?? Hey if you guys can, set it up so people can pay via PayPal!! ( :D )

we have to look into various payment options/methods. we're thinking about the credit card thingy, among others.

right now, the only holdup for the cds being available is the liner notes being finished - the cd is done, mastered and waiting to get replicated.

Apparantly he isn't to busy to post in other forums I guess that doesn't get in the way of his life.

Quite frankly those that are bitching have a right to and John being a moderator you are more than a bit out of line to defend him as several more days without any results would demonstrate.

I can't eat at Outback.

I'm sorry you suffer too, but now I've finally found someone else who'll corroborate my story. No one around I know believes me!

Well, this is a bit old, and OT, but I have this same problem - especially with wooden spoons, like you said. The kind that come with those little tubs of ice cream that kids get at birthday parties. They make me want to cut off my tongue. Sucks, donut?

well, haptodysphoria is a recongnized condition that is tactile-based. It's all about the 'feel', the texture. There are certain other substances that will prompt that hair-raising discomfort, but for me it's mostly rough, unfinished 'hairy' wood. It's not that you break out in a rash or anything, it's more like you'll drop the utensil as you shudder and writhe through the frisson of wrenching discomfort.
