You're right, but as a representative, I am still not responsible for the actions of another member-neither is TB. I can't blame an internet forum because someone decided to steal a bass. That's a human issue.

UPDATE:

After sending Prime Mover a VERY upset private message, I recieved this reply back today:


"Bryan,

I apologize for the inconvenience of the wishbass. It was not my intention to
keep it as long as I did. Darrin got a hold of me, and as was our previoud
plan, he was to ship it out. Darrin still has the bass. I no longer have it in
my possesion. I will contact him immediatly and have him ship it out to the
next member.

Again, accept my apologies. No one has heard from me in a while due to
financial troubles. No phone...no internet.

I hope you receive your bass soon. She is still in great condition, nothing
wrong has happened to her.

Please pass this along to all the other fellow TBers."


I don't believe the 'no phone...no internet' bit as she posted several times on TalkBass in April and May (when she'd already had it 8-9 months and had been repeatedly asked for it back), and every public library has free internet (not to mention pay phones are at EVERY STORE IN THE US....but I digress. Hopefully I've gotten this moving again and it will be moving along shortly.

Trust me, that ain't so.

All good people, here's an update:
I got the bass from Connie back in September, but she forgot to give the gig-bag over. While waiting for the bag, I had a 30th b-day and yes, the Wishy slipped my mind until this weekend. I went ahead and shipped it with one of my old gig-bags. I hope no one will be upset about the gig-bag swap I did.

Bryan, you should be getting the bass Wednesday or Thursday via FedEx.

Sorry you all had this trouble.

Just checked with FedEx, it may be Friday the 19th when you see it.

Jeff, thanks, but no thanks. I left because of Connie, now with all this mess that's happened, I just can't do it. I'm only here to clean up any wrong-doings that may be associated with my name.



Oh, and sorry to hear about Rickbass. I liked talking with him when I was here. A good man.

The Wish has landed!

Initial impressions are that this is the worst bass ever made, but I'm still in that new bass "in love" period, so I'll try not to sound too complimentary towards it. I'll get up a full review either tonight or tomorrow, hopefully with some pics.
