I've owned a Hofner and Gibson Triumph from the 70's and a lot of other stuff between then and now.

2002 Carvin LB70 is the oldest "complete" bass I own. I also have a parts P bass made from a Fender body and electronics that is probably slightly older than the Carvin, based upon the model, but the neck is a licensed replacement from Allparts that is only a handful of years old.

This is the 1936 H Tutmarc Bass- Apparently the first ever Electric bass. What is the oldest bass you got? who can get closest to that? I can only go back to my 1986 Vintage precision Bass.

No pic right now but a late 60s Kingston “Beatle bass”

The oldest bass I ever owned was a 1960s Kay hollow body with dual lipstick pickups. The next was my 1973 Jazz. Now the oldest bass I have is my fretted 6 string that I built in 1999-2000.
