OLP StingRay copy

Aight so i have the opportunity to buy an OLP StingRay copy, which I know doesn’t sound exactly like a stingray (passive not active n other poopie), but I was wondering if anyone who has used these basses has found them to be too treble-heavy? Whenever I’ve heard a stingray I’ve thought it was really really trebly and I don’t wanna buy it if it can only do a sound I’m not too crazy about all the time. These have flatwounds FYI
