Do pianos have 230 strings? I know they have 88 keys. I always assumed 1 string/wire per key.
A fifteen string 5x3 (5 fundamentals plus 2 octave strings each) bass might be practical, at a stretch, but this doesn't look practical at all.
Pianos have multiple strings per key. Depending on the key (some have more strings than others).
