BTW, my guess is that the original color on your bass was "Blonde". I'm not exactly sure of Fender colors in the late '70s, but in the early/mid '70s (when I bought my first bass...a brand new '74 Precision), "Blonde" was the standard color for Telecasters (both guitar and bass) and custom colors such as Olympic White were available. Excellent bass none the less...
