You can get new covers from a few places if you have interest. Many years ago I bought probably 10 combos of the P & Jazz knowing that as my collecting went on, I would have these to add or replace. In fact I have a black MIM P that I put a black plearloid pickguard and the covers on. Stunning:cool:
 
red tort looks good as well, a bit more striking than brown

Red Tort or Brown Tort was my first thought. But.....

A bright mid Red would look good as well - second thought. Kinda punk.

Dark Red or Maroon would look very Art Deco - like the late 20's upholsery, or speed boat seats from that time.

Darkish brown would look very retro - like bakalite (old 40's style radios). Think French train posters of the 30's.

Dark Green would be the first time I'd seen that combination....so...the house I was born in had those colours (1946!)
