I got really excited when I saw this, because I thought you were discussing the POG2, not the Enigma.
There is the issue of the filter control becoming a combined gain control when the dirt switch is on. That's annoying.

Wow, I need to win the lottery to buy all your good stuff (the right bass is worthless to me though).
Can't be long until everyone is selling off their MicroPOG, rignt?
I think the Micro POG will still have it's place- it's a simple one up, one down octaver that tracks perfectly, and many players don't need any more than that (particularly bassists). All the bells and whistles on the POG2 are great, but there's a lot of folks that won't need them.
Big POGs are going to be sold like crazy though.
That q balls just put a halt on my filter quest until further notice. Need to know what that sounds like before I pull the trigger on something.
Is the HOG analog? Because if it's digital (like I've always assumed it is), they could probably find a way to keep the HOG around the same size and include an onboard step mode of switching through presets, like on this POG2.
Digital. Honestly I think the preset thing like on this and on the SMMH is a more of pain TBH, I'd rather have a button for each like the foot controller is now. It's easier when switching between different modes which may not be near each other on dial.

Just ordered a POG2. Looks like the Micro POG I just got will be coming to a classifieds section near you!

Cool. Just off the top of your head, would you say they're very similar, or have you not gotten to mess with the Pitchfactor enough yet?
I agree with you on ease of use, I greatly prefer the setup of the foot controller to the step modes of the POG2 and Pitchfactor. And usually I don't complain about pedal size, but after messing around with the setup first hand, I really do think the HOG, foot controller, and an Expression pedal requires too much room, and think that I would probably compromise to have the onboard switching. Just my $.02.

In the SMMH its not that bad unless you want 2 different modes sounds in one song, but for what I see in the POG2 there's a footswitch called preset so if I get it right you can engage the preset selected by the white knob or have the sliders set in one sound so you have 2 sounds (sliders & preset) controlled via footswitch which I think its just awesome
After playing around with it some more, yes you can definitely get some tones that are similar to the Micro POG. The tracking can get glitchy in certain modes, and I have read that the next patch should address this (it's currently in public beta release) but I haven't tried it yet. You can also get wammy type super digital sounding octaves as well. Cool pedal!
Just more pedals getting in the way of a Memory Boy release for me.
Although it hasn't been confirmed anywhere yet, I'd personally guessing the reason the Memory Boy is so much cheaper despite having all the same features, is that it wont have Panasonic BB Chips.
Thus I need to know if it still sounds good, and wether it will save me lotsof of dizzles over the current XO DMM.

Won't be selling my Micro Pog just yet.
I like the (Pog2) feature set, but for me they screwed the pooch on one thing....they don't have the dry signal out!!!
I use mine because I run the (upper) octave through certain effects (chorus, distortion, etc.) while keeping the main bass signal dry and then mixing them back together.
With the new (Micro) Pog2 I can't do this.
Guess I'll have to wait for Pog2.1 .
