Once again, Rush dissapoints

I have passed on seeing Rush live for many years now because Geddy's voice is shot, and I too am tired of seeing the same songs played in concert, AND the fact that I have to fork over three figures to see them. Sorry, but I have better things to spend my money on in spite of the fact that they're my favorite band.

Some folks would complain if they won the lottery because their million dollars came in hundreds instead of twenties.....

The guys in Rush are aging, and touring is a bitch. Be glad they decided to do it one last time; enjoy the music they play, and realize that their tour does not revolve around you, or any one person.

For those that cry about ticket prices, they are no more expensive that other bands of their caliber, and in many cases, their tix are even less. Concerts are expensive for big name bands; get used to it.

PS-I'm seeing them in VA at the end of May and will enjoy it even if they do play "horrific Colckwork" tunes.

I guarantee these complainers will regret it once the band retires and eventually returns to the dirt.

I want to experience their shows as much as I can and this tour will most likely be the last time I ever see these guys live. They can churn out as many studio albums as they can, but nothing is quite like seeing them live...even if they play Tom Sawyer every damn tour.

Well, my buddies and I thought it was a great show. I loves how they moved backward and got smaller as. The show went on. Most acts would get bigger to the end

The set list does seem to change a little from night to night. The Tulsa show was different from the Lincoln show which was different from the St. Paul show that I saw. Not huge changes, but a different tune here and there.

just got back from the austin show, a bass lover's dream, geddy played a different bass just about every song, two different thunderbirds, at least 3 different pbass, (which sounded incredible) and the doubleneck for xanadu

I am glad I went.

Saw the show in Seattle last night and really liked it. And it was in Key Arena with it's usually horrid acoustics so I couldn't hear the bass very well.

Saw the early comments in the thread about Jacob's Ladder. Funny - that song SERIOUSLY impressed me last night, and I also loved how they changed up how they played a lot of the songs.

Really sad to think this may be it ...
