Whatever kind of bread Sal's in Astoria uses. I think it's semolina hero bread. Preferably with the cacophony of meat, cheese, veggies and sauces in between.

Onion kulcha is my favorite Indian bread. Looks deceptively simple till you take a bite and realize it's packed with onion.

I would have to go with wheat. I like a lot of the other breads listed better but they don't go with peanut butter and that bread lovers is a deal breaker.

Well, to each his own, but personally? I've never found a bread - even that "bread in a can" in old C-rations - that didn't go with peanut butter...

Funky Ghost beat me to mentioning my Sainted Grandmother, Katie. It couldn't be anything other than Traditional Irish Soda Bread. I bumped into a wonderful loaf at a farmers' market here in Sydney last weekend! It all but brought tears to my tastebuds...Sharing it with my 2 year old Grand daughter all but brought tears to my eyes...

That's tough a draw between Italian, naan, and tortilla. Now that I got some education on other breads here I really don't know I gotta try some of that onion kulcha. I could see myself eating that everyday even though I haven't tried it.
