On the other hand, there is Willie Nelson’s own guitar, that he, as a fan, has had numerous people sign…

Then there is the story that Jeff Beck had Tina Turner carve her name into his guitar in lieu of payment for playing on a session, but it was that hideous pink Jackson from the mid-80’s.
But, hey, you could always have this on a chain around your neck…

If it is really Korn's bassist who got lit and signed a fan's Ibby with a Dremel, then that's a decent rock and roll story. How that story effects the value of the instrument is certainly in the eye of the beholder.

I'm imagining a heavy metal convention with a bunch of semi-retired rockers sitting behind folding tables, with Dremels, and a bunch of dudes lined up with their Ibby and Jackson metal guitars waiting to get autographs.

The places I've seen it posted the seller has turned off comments. I guess if he finds the right buyer but that's probably, what, a $1k bass at most normally? Probably less.
