The aliens have landed, want to dance, and they've given you the Ultimate Ultimatum: Play one song to fill the dance floor or they blow up the world!

What song are you gonna play?

(I've done almost nothing but stay at home, go on Facebook and TalkBass, and work from home like a dog since mid-March. No gigs. Two rehearsals. Figured I'd throw this out there for some fun.)

It might as well be "Deus Irae" from Mozart's Requiem, 'cause I don't know any floor-packing dance tunes...

Nice. We do that and it works. People do what I call the "Buffy dance" (hopping while alternating head tilts). Buffy and friend used to do this in opening credits, IIRC.

BTW, I was thinking of upbeat dance tunes (eg, Sedated) but more than once it's been a slow song (eg, Something, Wonderful Tonight)...especially during the 2nd half of the night.

  9. This would be a good plot for a Tim Burton movie.

  10. We did classic rock covers and "L.A. Woman" always got people dancing and, surprisingly, "Crazy Train."

  15. I made it 2:01 before I had to pull the cord. Lot of men and a lot of teeth in that video.

Should eliminate the need for that old "Take me to your leader" nonsense. :bassist:
