If you’re going to win over a crowd, you have to play something they’re familiar with; space aliens would already know this one...

I would have said Play That Funky Music, but one night we were playing a gig and working as hard as we could to get people on the dance floor. With the exception of one to three couples getting up every now and then - nothing. Then somebody suggested Wonderful Tonight. We started the song, I looked up from my drum kit (I was playing drums back then) and the dance floor was PACKED. I guess the crowd was in a romantic mood that night.
