Only one thing to say

Im interested in the little guy as it seems like a great low cost head to build a small cab for. what kind of tones are you getting out of it? Does it break up and get dirty too quickly? or can you get it to stay pretty clean through the volume range? ive been considering getting into a B15, which is more powerful, but $$$$$$$ that i dont have.

cheers,

-Jeff

I have just started messing with it- you definetely need to liek the tube slight Overdrive tone to love this baby- Crystal clean it is not.

I'd say you can go from a nice Pearl Jam type OD to a full out Beastie Boys fuzz-rocious sound, easily. Definetely puts the hair on the high notes.

Can anyone help me?

I find that my PF-500, (which is rated for 0.670 horse power) starts to sound very harsh when putting out only 0.50 hp.

Yet my B-15 sounds great all the way up to it's rated 0.034 hp.

Is there something wrong with the PF-500?

I see what you did there.
0.67 HP = 500 watts
0.50 HP = 375 watts
0.34 HP = 250 watts
