As disguises go, it's pretty good.
Over the years and the different bands I've been in I've got well over 300 songs that I play... some often, some only occasionally. The majority of them I have no problem playing without sheets but I have a terrible memory for progressions and occasionally I'll take a quick look at a sheet to remind myself of the bridge or other changes.
I always have a tablet down low beside me as I mix sound from stage and even when we have a FOH person I'll mix foldback. Taking a quick peek occasionally can avoid embarrassment.
I use lyrics sheets but not music. My memory for lyrics is just almost nonexistent and I like to have notes. I try to keep mine low and out of the way though, lol

In a large ensembles with not much rehearsal, unfamiliar music, tablets are extremely useful. MUCH better that sheet music when playing with winds in excess of 15 miles an hour. Now why the tablet is that high and that close to his face is beyond me as is everybody else wearing shoes. Apparently they missed the memo it was barefoot only.

At least he’s in the back. We had a sub sax player a while ago, read charts off his iPad all night long and stood directly in front of me. Dude wasn’t even good looking.
What if there is just a bare skull behind that tablet? Creates a whole new meaning for Bass face.
I use an iPad on stage to do two things: keep a set list up; and run our FOH and IEM mixes via WiFi. I keep mine angled back and at chest level. It’s pretty unobtrusive. Besides, I ain’t much to look at...

Yeah, real musicians never use stands, even when playing dad's music.
Mixers, lighting rigs, processing units, and video/audio recording systems can all be controlled by ipads, too.

Nope... (and I had to look up porkies). He's actually affiliated with the Australian company, but I could be wrong about the swedish part... He might be Norwegian, but with a name like Juerg Siegrist who knows for sure.

Barefoot with the iPad is just bad form, but the janky mooseknuckles are unforgivable.
