Dude, straight up the best 4x10 cabinet I have ever heard or played through - the DNA-DNS 410. Absolutely hands down the best tone, best power, the best upper mid, and the most killer Low B I have ever heard come out of a cabinet!

Though I do like the Orange Isobaric 4x10, despite having been explained to me the fact that it's a bad design.

Needs to be stood on end, get it vertical...

Heard a bergantino HD410 with a Mesa M9 outdoors on campus. Sounded huge.

From doing simulations the best 2x12's should keep up with the best 4x10's in the same box volume. From what I hear out of my high output 1x12 I agree.

I can tell you that (2) HD112's can't hold up to an HD410- I've got all three and gig them all regularly. The 12's come fairly close but when I need to really thump I drag my 410. Wish I didn't have to, but if I need to bring the ruckus I grab the HD410, not the stack of 12's.

It depends on the job you do and what you want out of the cabinet. I play in a rock band with loud guitarists, so the sealed 410 sound works for me. If you have more room in the mix, maybe a 'berg with super low range works best for you. Get the right tool for the job.

My two favorite 410 cabs are Ampeg 410HE and 410HLF.

That's a bit surprising as those two are voiced quite a bit different. Usually people fall into the "one or the other" camp.

I don't use my 410 very often but if needed my Genz Benz Uber410T has to be one of the best 410 cabs I ever used.

I've played through an Epifani U3, and it was awesome. It was also way north of $1,000. So I use an Avatar B410 with Deltalites, for half as much money. Doesn't sound half-bad.

I've owned both and have found that the 410HLF can go a little deeper than the 410HE but they are both very versatile.

You can get three distinct tones depending on the horn switch. Makes quite a difference, esp. with fuzz/distortion. I prefer to run the horns on hi on my stack; with two going it can get ear-shattering.

I recently inherited my old mans 1990s eden dxlt210. He bought in 1998 and used quite a bit.... it still sounds amazing as ever and it can take a beating... if cash or weight is no object , I wouldnt hesitate on the eden 410.
