Heard a bergantino HD410 with a Mesa M9 outdoors on campus. Sounded huge.
From doing simulations the best 2x12's should keep up with the best 4x10's in the same box volume. From what I hear out of my high output 1x12 I agree.

That's a bit surprising as those two are voiced quite a bit different. Usually people fall into the "one or the other" camp.My two favorite 410 cabs are Ampeg 410HE and 410HLF.

You can get three distinct tones depending on the horn switch. Makes quite a difference, esp. with fuzz/distortion. I prefer to run the horns on hi on my stack; with two going it can get ear-shattering.
