Opposite Day! Strings you hate.

I've never tried any strings that I really detested, but I just don't get DR Neon Strings. Strictly on an aesthetic level, though... they probably sound & play great! But, gross. Just gross. :D

My DR Neons make me :: snoopy dance ::

Yes they do play and sound great for me. And they fulfill the aesthetic I seek. Check 'em out on my 'Ray.

Strings I hate? Too much energy wasted to hate a string, or anything else for that matter. Can't say I was much impressed playing tapes and wouldn't buy them, and I'm really not into flats, myself. Hate them? Naw.

I have a question for all you flats users and I'm being serious. What kind of music do you play most where you can really get away with using just flatwounds?

Let's see: Country & Western; Western Swing; Blues/Electric Blues; Rockabilly; Rock 'N Roll before about 1970 (more or less); some early Jazz; and, basically, anything that was probably originally recorded with an upright bass...
