I am really entreaged by the Nikki Sixx Blackbird bass with its opti-grab. has anyone ever used one on their bass? He claims it is used to help move the bass around.
Couldn't you thread your instrument cable trough there?

Yeah, he uses it as a pivot point for his hand and the pick, too. It would seem to be more painful than helpful IMHO.
Strangely enough, I watched "The Jerk" this afternoon while working on my rack....It's still in the DVD player, on repeat, playing in the background now.

Yes he did. Not a Crue fan at all, but his book is an interesting read.
