Orange tb500c combo question

I am trying to make sure that this would work if I attached two tb500c together.

Using the one tb500c head with the one output jack to the attached speaker - then daisy chaining to the speaker of the other tb500c - I would then just switch the head to 4 ohms handling. Since both of the speakers are 8 ohms and believe they are wired in parallel.

I guess my only concern is that the head in the combo only has 1 output so just want to make sure the daisy chaining is not going to blow something up :-)

Firstly, there is no internal connection between the head and the speakers, for some reason you need to connect the head to the cab with the included short speakon lead.......I bet I lose mine one day. It would have made so much more sense to have a captive lead from the head to the cab that meant all you had to do was connect to the power and you were away.

I can see tears ahead.

Secondly, why would you want two combo's? you could get an SP212 extension cab to do the job described above.

Or am I being simplistic
