OS/BMS Synth Filter Section Questions

I'm not sure and yes.

Yes, you can beat lock the LFO, or at least that's my understanding from the manual. I have yet to set up a patch to try it.

I emailed Richard Cartwright before my OS showed up about doing Slow Gear type volume swells and my understanding from his response was that you could either have the OS set up as an envelope filter or in ADSR mode where you could specify the attack and decay times pretty specifically.

Of course, the easiest thing is probably to just email him yourself with any specific questions. He's really good about answering them quickly and completely.

yes it can... i did a patch from closed to an open filter. you gotta tweak the ADSR on the VCF. my complaint about the os is that its not as fun tweaking the knobs as the bms and it sounds less ballsy too. i made some clips under the OS settings thread. its under "triangle woof"

slow gear wise, i reckon just cut off the attack speed on the ADSR on your VCA.

haven't tried out the envelope modes though.

we should really start sharing our ofx files.
