Over-population.

Mmmmmm. No, I'm not saying the same thing at all. I'm not saying any one race is superior or better and should wipe out the others. I'm saying that only the best, brightest and healthiest of any race should be allowed to breed.

Otherwise, as evidenced by every race on the planet, the lease intelligent and weakest do the most breeding and de evolve the species.

And I'm no historian, but I believe his genocide was committed largely because he needed a scapegoat for non Jewish Germans to blame for all their problems and help get behind his war.

While I do believe in population control, I dissagree with the statement about the "least intelligent and weakest" as the ones who are contributing to the massive booms in population. If anything, from my understanding, it's a question of economics. The POOREST people are the ones prone to massive birthrates. I don't know if it's an issue of the need for more able bodies to work in order to feed destitute families in conjunction with high infant mortality rates in these areas, sub-standard access to contraception or a combination of these. I think more than anything these people aren't weak by nature, it's their standard of living which propagates that cycle. Way too many factors to weigh in here.

So who is gonna decide who is "healthy" enough to breed? Who will decide if a child is healthy?

There's a quite a few people on TB who have handicapped children, family members, or have disabilities as well. Are they or their parents unfit to breed? Should the new laws exempt them from ever having a family? Should all parents be subjected to genetic testing prior to breeding? And what if they have a disabled child that doesn't show up in a genetic screen? Should they then be ineleigible to ever have children again, even if it were random chance? And once again, who determines all that? Is a kid with ADD unhealthy? Is a kid with a birth defect like a cleft palette unhealthy? Or what if a someone becomes disabled later in life?

I hope that people who think this way about the disabled never have to have their thoughts put to the test. There is no guarantee that you will retain your health for your lifetime or that your family will be healthy. And should you ever fall prey to fate in that way, your mindset will be completely useless.
Honestly, sometimes it would be easier to be blissfully ignorant like this than it is to have a severely disabled family member.

Did I say disabled? Disabled assumes the person was born healthy and diseased free in the first place. I'm not suggesting anything so bizzare as gentic testing or killing people because they become disabled later in life.

By health I mean people who have diseases like AIDs giving birth to children with AIDs and dooming them before they are even born.

I am only suggestion controling breeding and causing what would happen in nature if humans did not have societies that supported the weak.

The diseased or unable to cope get bred out of exsistance.

You adding things I simply did not say.

And as far as having a severly disabled family member or becoming severly disabled myself, if I became bed ridden and unable to do anything but take up space and resources I would pull the plug on myself without hesitation, for the good of my family.

You are more or less advocating Eugenics. You stress finer points of the differences between your concept of Eugenics and someone like Hitler's concept of Eugenics, but it's the same concept at the heart of it.

Eugenics is a fascinating concept, but it has a despicable past, and would be difficult or impossible to implement in a way which respects basic human rights. Particularly human rights regarding reproduction, which you are advocating the revokation of. That's going to be a tough sell.

It's easy to type that.

I would argue that the poorest people are by and large the least intelligent segment of most populations, as intelligent people find a way out of being poor. This leaves the poor right where they are to breed and produce more unitelligent poor people.

I know a lot of people will see the above very unsavory.

Like Sam Kinison said in his comedy act: "This is sand, you know what's it's going to be a thousand years from now? Sand! Move where the Fing food is!"

Ah, what does it matter anyway. It won't happen and the human race will continue to de evolve and create more squalor and misery for it'self.

No but you are saying that certain genetic traits are only worthy of breeding. Race place a lot into genetic information.

That may be, but genius and all positive traits have been evidenced in every race.

Genius is relative. You take someone like Einstein and throw him into SoCentral and tell him to survive. He won't look like a genius then. You take a kid out of SoCentral and throw him in front of a lecture hall in place of Einstein and he won't look like a genius. But both are arguably masters of their environment. So how would you measure genius. It's a slippery slope full of biases. Not a good call. It's idealistic at best.

I'm reasonably sure Einstein would be able to get himself out of a hostile social evironement.

I fail to see how a kid in south central can be considered a master of his environment simply because he lives there.

Put it this way, if Eugenics were put into place many of the greatest minds in history would not have been born. Bill Clinton would never have been president (or born for that matter), Einstein would not have been born, ect. Many of the greatest minds have come from a poor family. Heck, if Eugenics had been in place, the US would still be part of the British Empire.

yes, but race is just a smokescreen for CLASS. race doesn't exist.

you want to control the population? give women and men access to proper and safe reproductive education and options. and yes, that includes sterilization WITH THEIR CONSENT. i don't think anyone wants to bring a child into this world knowing that he/she can't provide for it.

oh yeh, and tell men to stop raping women and girls and getting them pregnant.

Not to mention that sterilization doesn't always work. A person that my mom works with had her tubes tied and her husband had a vasectomy and both failed and they ended up having another kid.

Bill clinton not being born would have arguably been a good thing. The fact that you think Bill Clinton is one of the greatest minds in history is yet another positive agument for selective breeding.

Great minds rise above and show themselves as great minds.

Your reasoning is very backwards.

I wasn't trying to say that he was a great mind, just someone famous that wouldn't have been born. Although I would argue that he was a good president, but not here, no politics.
