Cool. Very cool. It’s a pretty good show. I liked the first season. Jason Bateman is quite a character . Highly recommended. Thanks for the update.
Just saw this pop up today on Netflix! Aaaaaaand there goes my week. Full disclosure: I sharted my pants in joy. And I'll do it again. Once I hose down my La-Z-Boy...
S03 E01 This show is so good. It’s BB BCS good. Well that’s just like my opinion. In times like this it kind of makes me sad that I can’t talk about it with other TB’ers.
looking forward to starting season 3 either tonight or tomorrow. This is one of the best shows of the last decade for sure - have not watched BCS yet, but watched all of BB back in the day - it is one of my favourites. But, I honestly think this show is structured better - nearly every moment feels like movie, I think probably due to not having to account for commercial breaks.
I like Jason Bateman and the show looks to be good, but I'm not a Netflix guy. From the get go when we cut the cable, I planted my flag in the Hulu camp. We're not going to pay for multiple streaming services. -Mike
I paid for CBS All Access so I could get STicovery and STicard. That’s done for a while so I switched to Netflix for Ozark. When that’s done we’ll see what they’re offering a the time, might switch again.
I'm getting hooked on this show and I haven't even watched it. I decided to give Netflix a look. $12.99 a month for HD, and still $8.99 for the non-HD cheap plan. Then they blame their employees working from home as the reason call hold times are so long. This show may be all that and a bag of chips, but I'll pass. -Mike
The way I look at it is it's costing me $13 for the 10 new episodes of Ozark. When I'm finished with Ozark, assuming Netflix has no other content I'm interested in at the time, I can stop my subscription and I'm done with it for $13. If you'd be watching all 3 seasons, that's 30 episodes for $13 if you get through them all in one month. I've never had to call Netflix for anything. Signing up and dropping it are all done online.
That's a great perspective @OldDog52 and thank you for adding that part about the customer service. I had lingering doubts about how challenging it would be to cancel the service if we decided it wasn't for us. -Mike
Your Netflix account is managed completely online. You can start or stop or upgrade or downgrade your plan(s) at any time in your account control panel. They make it pretty easy, no tricks, no phone calls to cancel. I dropped out about 6 months ago, then started up again for Ozark. All I had to do is login and add streaming back to my account again.
Mine's long gone. But don't you get a 30 day free trial for signing up the first time? Been a couple of months I've come close to cancelling but never actually got that far yet.
With the number of extra folks simultaneously hitting Netflix during quarantine I'm amazed that it even works. Saw S3E1 and all I'll say is... Ruth!
Up to the same point and I was just gonna say she walks a fine line between an @#metoo feelgood piece and a genuine hardarse. That's some well written characterisation right there.
