Precisions with flats turn me on.

Seriously though, I've used rounds on my precision since I got it, but I just ordered some flats so we'll see which I prefer. My money's on the flats though; rounds are too bright for the style I'm playing now.

If rounds sound too bright, there's always the tone knob. But you can't make dull strings sound bright.

TI-JF344's
DR-Sunbeams
Ken Smith Compressors.
GHS Pressurewounds.

I use these on all my basses.
The Bass will tell me what strings to use.

I've got rounds on both of my Precision Elites, flats on one Precision, flats on another Precision, rounds on still another Precision, flats on my 51 reissue Precision, rounds on all three of my Jazz basses. When I gig, I normally take one of my Precisions with flats, and a Jazz with rounds for backup.
I voted Precision with flats.

I had flats (heavy gauge Roto 77) on my first bass, a Squier VM fretless Jazz. Loved them.

Then I got my Squier CV 60s Precision, put the 77s on it, and didn't like them at all. Too, well, flat. Dull. Don't know why, perhaps the pickup is too bland.

Tried something completely different: Ernie Ball Super Slinkies. Light gauge nickel rounds. Lost their brightness quickly, but even after more than half a year of almost daily use they are still alive and give a nice warm tone. Sounds quite authentic playing along to Stax blues stuff. So I might be emulating what others get with flats on their P with rounds on mine.

On my Jazz (Sandberg JJ/TT Passive) I loved the Rotosound 66 for their growl, but had to set up a very high action to avoid buzz. Also I could watch them destroying the frets while I was playing. Now I'm using DR nickel Lo-Riders. A bit more mellow, but still with more character in the mids than zing up high. Just what i'm looking for. Can't imagine using flats on the Jazz for now.

I put flats on my J-Bass in high school (early 90's) and nobody knew what the @#$% they were. I just fell in love with the feel and tone. But I've got other basses with rounds just in case...!
