P Bass and the Grammys

So you mean the Grammy arrangers are now going cheap and hiring students from local Music schools to do mixing?

No but easy nght , soundmen are lazy on stage , in studio , one or two bass tracks ready , easy night going on right .
It doesn t mean hired students buddy . Tell that to some pretty good bass builders that aren t making either a P or a J-Bass PU configuration bass . & now funnilly they are building one for their endorsers .

Grammies to me is corporate music for corporates only . All the same stuff , but it s an opinion , that s it .

Surely the bassists are good , imagine a bad bassist on stage scewing the show ....

I should ve added that some pretty good custom bass guitar builders have-to build either J or P-Basses because management & producers demand these , because the bass tracks on the boards are already done , plug it & only a little tweak and it s allright .
