So, some time ago, I finally got my first P Bass assambled.
No special bass, actually it's rather a pretty cheap thing, but nice looking and decent sounding. right now, I only have my phone camera (which ain't good obviously), so this picture looks terrible. but you can figure out which one is the precision (the jazz bass is my very first bass with nylons und the other one is my musicman).

But well, now my personal story of the year:

I just scored a american deluxe p 5 string!! I'm so happy, considering it's almost new, comes with a case, it has a one-year-warranty and only costs 700€ (which is really really cheap for german standards).

Words can't do no justice, so here's some pics:

I'm so looking forward getting this bass!

And maybe you guys know, why the bridge PU has its polepieces not right underneath the strings.

Glad you like it. It's a fleaBay special. Just had to have it. It's a decent width, made of leather and goes plenty long enough. What's more, it's not just your everyday Karma Sutra - all the prints are two girls! :cool:

Heh heh well, that picture was taken in our rehearsal space and in the places where our respective gear is, it says JT - Bass, Gaz - Drums, Phil - Guitar....we didn't wanna leave the poor sofa out. It's just red paint, applied rather hap-hazardly with a big fat brush. :)

Thanks for being a nice guy and letting me have it. You get the next craigslist find.

And yeah, I still love it. Dad took it away last night until Christmas. It's killing me. I love it so much more than my Schecter. It's my main bass now, unless I need the 5th string my Schecter has.;)

So you got to play with it all weekend long? That's good! Let's see, what's today....The eighth? Only 17 more days until it's "officially" yours! And remember, first show, I want to be there, right?

As soon as I get a show booked, I will let you know. I am dying to play this bass out. 17 days....c'mon...hurry up!

Yeah, i got to have it for the weekend. Out of my 48 hours weekend. 15 hours was spent on this bass. yes, I actually counted. lol
