PA gear in South Korea

The last time our band played for the troops in Asia,it was for the AFE. They provided PA.

This time we're doing the MWR tour. We have to provide the PA. Does anyone have advice on the most cost effective option?

Apparently there aren't decent PAs to rent there.

i wonder why there would be no rental houses there.....have you tried asking some nashville dudes what they do....im sure american acts play in korea often enough that someone would know....how about the big back line companies that serve touring acts,or even guys like jimmym who does a lot of fly gigs...maybe they could put you in touch with someone

MWR said that most bands put the PA on the plane and some even ship.
It just seems we'd have to bring a "smaller than we'd like" PA to bring it under
the plane.
