PAUL STANLEY'S STRANGE FENDER PRECISION BASS?

Thoughts? Well, I heard Paul got that bass at a doctor's office. See, this female nurse came in to check him out and... well, you probably know the rest of Paul's story.

That's a pretty cool music room setup he's got there
I like his music room. Appropriate amounts of gear tucked away in case people come around and a view. Very civilised. Also appears to be about 2/3s the size of our house

On closer look it seems to say "stage light" on the stickers.

Apparently, he and Gene live somewhat close to one another. I always get a kick out of Paul mentioning in interviews that from his house, he looks down on Gene's house. Gotta be a little shot to Gene's ego when he hears that.

I’d concur with the whole custom thing. At this level you get exactly what you want, no mucking around.
I should qualify this statement: Years back I worked on a huge $$$ production in Europe. They wanted a certain shaped guitar for one of the leads, found the nearest luthier, and got two made.

My guess is a Fender Custom Shop job. It’s too slick and well put together looking to be a homebrew thing. And it’s not like Paul can’t afford to pay FCS prices for what may or may not be just a lovely decoration for his music room.
I didn’t realize Paul was putting stuff out on YouTube. I’ll have to check it out. He and Ace are one of my favorite guitar duos ever. Up there with Dave Mustaine/Marty Friedman and Kim Thayil/Chris Cornell.

No idea about the bass, but that was a pretty cool and interesting video.
Also, growing up in the 70s and 80s I never would've dreamt that in 2020 I'd be getting a lecture on public health from Kiss's guitarist. Funny how things work.
Not even Fender CS would relic a bass that badly! Looks like a parts bass to me, it wouldn't be hard to put together.
If I had just a little bit of Paul Stanley in me I'd be the man.

I wouldn't think they need labels like "stage light- guitar- mic stand- bass amp" on each specific item..lol.
(I like to think they dont at least.)
