PAYPAL SCAM HELP!!!!

I still don't see the connection. Different names, different addresses, one is receiving a high quality stolen bass, the other is selling entry level non-bass equipment. So they're in the same town and both have Hispanic names...that doesn't make them the same person.
Have you tried the FBI? I think this kinda thing might be in their jurisdiction. Since an American citizen stole from you using Internet fraud to pull off an international crime.
One block away from another, same name...both in the biz of selling music gear...coincidence STRONGLY doubt it
I'm very curious to know more details in case I see this in the future:
Did you or Robbert have a PayPal account before this transaction, and did you have the buyer send the funds to that account? Or did you arrange to have the buyer send the funds via PayPal to your email address (so you would then access it through PayPal)?
If Robbert had an account, did he at any time look in his actual PayPal account to confirm the funds were received, or did you ship based only on an email (fraudulent in this case) saying the funds had been received?
Where did this happen? How did you and the buyer connect? Have you tried contacting him directly?
Using google maps, that address does, in fact, resolve to a duplex, so it's physical location.
All you can do is keep making calls nonstop to everyone on your list. Persistence is your only hope to get some assistance -- maybe you'll hit on someone with concrete recommendations, or a willingness to listen. It looks like, according to NJ law, this would petty larceny, or possibly class A(?) if you could show the value to be over $1,000, but really proving a lot of the elements would be tough. Stopping the shipment might be best hope.

i know its hard to say but you got scammed and the authorities cant do anything about this. Thats the truth. Sometimes truth hurts. You live and you learn. I was scammed once and when the cops showed they said they cant do anything because I handed the guy the money. Its not like he forced it out of me.
good lord man, this is ass kicking time, save your truth hurts speech until after he puts some effort into tracking this clown down.
