I just noticed this. Dude, you need to, like, get yourself a decent sized rig. I mean, how do you expect to play out with a wimpy little set up like that? What do you use that for? coffee houses? house parties? Sheesh.

I just noticed this. Dude, you need to, like, get yourself a decent sized rig. I mean, how do you expect to play out with a wimpy little set up like that? What do you use that for? coffee houses? house parties? Sheesh.
So I got a mail about this club how does one qualify for this ..........
Oh and mini by herself I course ; ) the old tx now has basslites and tweeter protection .......so need a rotating logo....

OK, local shop was having a Black Friday sale so I couldn't resist picking up a Headliner 112. Updated Peavey amp pic:
Tonights combination the replacement speakers make this combination allot more gigable. One still has to take care dialling in the low on the classic 400 to keep everything whole......Last night's combination gave that 8x10 a good poundingView attachment 2823793

Here's a new photo and short story for the club 
photo is from a Festival last weekend I put my mkviii in the back line as backup amp. The markbass was provided by a sponsor . Apologies to the peavey purists among us 
. The mark bass gave up after the third band and went onto thermal protection. The old Mk viii covered the remaining 5 bands without breaking a sweat....Mark bass sounded super before meltdown however....

Has anybody in this club ditched the standard fan on the minimax yet my only real gripe with the amp ...any recommendations for a good quiet fan? It has to go.....

I have a 8 ohm Peavey 410TX w/o tweeter and wired to work full range. Right now I'm thinking about getting a 210 to push more air and to get a more portable cab for smaller gigs. Any pairing recommendations? I looked into the 210tx and 210tvx, but they seem to be 4 ohm which makes them pretty much useless for me.

Well as you said a second cab at 4 ohms will be a no go for that amp. They do exist at 8 ohms but many of the older Peavey amps were 2 ohm capable so could run pretty much any combination. The newer cabs will tend to be 8 ohm. 210 pro series is cheap in US and more capable than a standard 210 tx or tvx. The headliner should stack nicely on a tx I think. The pvh series is a pricey option I have no experience with. The tour series is nice light cab 8ohm with good power handling and in the US also cheap as chips. I have a 4 ohm 210tx but I have almost never run it with a 410 as the 210 will have the tendency to run out of steam long before the 410 will if the cab is standard. But it's usable up to the limits of the 210. I get around the ohm issue by running older cabs in series with newer heads but you loose on output of course and 4 ohm 8ohm setup will give you a volume difference. It has been discussed many times here on TB. Maybe hold out for an 8 ohmer or if you get a good priced 4 ohmer switch out the stock speakers for some nice neos with the resistance you need
for a little weight saving..... Makes the 210 allot more usable. If your not wanting the cost of speaker replacement a tour 210 should fit your needs if you can find one....
