Peavey grind sixer?

Anyone have anything good to say about peavey basses or anything bad?

Specifically about this bass even? I believe its a peavey grind nxb bxp or somethin like that, but im thinkin of this as my next bass but will the passive pickups be good for metal/thrash?

I played the 5string version, and thought it was pretty nice overall, but I didn't really like 2vol/2tone setup.

I owned the four string and have tried the six. That neck wood going through the whole body makes it heavy. However, my experience with six-string basses is limited, so please take anything I say with a pound of salt.

It's perfect for metal because its tone is pretty dark. I have two of the 5ers, one mahogany BXP and an older Imbuya NTB model.

(BXP = Indonesia, NTB = Korea)

I don't consider them heavy. They are pretty darn comfortable and well-balanced if you ask me.
